Nearly 20 top whiskey brands will gather in front of Bosscat Kitchen in Irvine for the open-air Orange County Whiskey Festival. The event, happening Wednesday, Oct. 15, will offer unlimited whiskey tastings, cocktails galore, fare from a handful of local restaurants and live music.
Distilleries will include Angels Envy, Bulleit, Basil Hayden, Castle and Key Distillery, Glendronach, Jack Daniel’s, Blade and Bow, Sazerac, Weller and E.H. Taylor, to name a few.
Enjoy food from the host, Bosscat Kitchen, along with bites from Baba G, Driftwood Kitchen, Ten Sushi and Cocktail Bar, Miss Mini Donuts, Baba G, Il Fornaio, Griffin’s of Brea, Stowaway, Ocean and Earth, Farmhouse at Rogers Garden, Public Legacy, the Deck, Mix/Mix and Malfi Coffee.

Leslie Nguyen, co-founder of Bosscat Kitchen and Daily Dose Hospitality and founder of Miss Mini Donuts, and Jennifer Wales of Wales Communication are the people behind the boozy event. “Our goal was to create a high-value, high-energy experience that celebrates the best of the incredible spirit of whiskey and food in Orange County,” said Nguyen in a written release.
The Whiskey Festival happens from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Bosscat Kitchen at The Park in Irvine. General admission tickets are $70 (entry at 6 p.m.) with VIP tickets available for $95. VIP admission includes early entry at 5 p.m., a gift bag and a gift card to Daily Dose Hospitality restaurants and more).
